What is the European Fulfilment Network between the UK and the EU?

The European Fulfilment Network between the UK and EU* allows thousands of companies to easily sell across borders without having to register for VAT in the country in which the marketplace is located.

It enables sales partners who use Fulfilment by Amazon to store their inventory in local fulfilment centres and ship orders across borders, maximising inventory control and flexibility. Let Amazon ship your eligible products to your customers with the Prime badge!
* The European Fulfilment Network is only available between the UK and Germany, France, Italy and Spain

Why should you use the European Fulfilment Network between the UK and the EU?

Sell to millions with the Prime badge
Sell to millions of potential customers and offer them a Prime experience
Offer your Prime badge products in the desired Amazon European stores in the countries you have selected for storage. Customers worldwide trust Amazon Prime for faster and more reliable deliveries.
Save on your fulfilment costs
Ship cross-border orders using a single VAT number
The European Fulfilment Network between the UK and the EU allows you to ship orders in both the EU and the UK without registering for VAT in the respective country of the marketplace, because Amazon or the customer is responsible for paying VAT. For more information, refer to the VAT legislation for e-commerce in the UK and EU.
Accelerate your growth with flexible storage
Importing to one country, shipping to many countries
Thanks to the European Fulfilment Network between the UK and the EU, you have the ability to import goods to just one country. Amazon then simply uses this inventory to fulfil cross-border orders. If you already import goods into the UK and/or the EU, Amazon will ship your eligible items from your local fulfilment centre to your customers and use the European Fulfilment Network when products are out of stock in your local fulfilment centres.
Provide the fast delivery that customers love
Amazon takes care of customs duties and excise
You sell and we ship your eligible products to your customers for you. Minimise the need to manage multiple providers and systems to ensure that shipping and regulatory requirements are met.
Invest time in activating and pricing listings so that your products are first discoverable on Amazon.co.uk. Then you let the customer in the UK decide whether the offers are interesting. We have done it and we are seeing that the UK market is increasingly developing, despite slightly longer shipping times and EFN fees.
