What are Amazon Renewed products?

Amazon Renewed products can be repaired/refurbished and tested to look and work like new. Repair/refurbish capability means that products must have electrical and/or mechanical components that can be replaced and/or upgraded to new or like-new condition.
Reprocessing typically includes a diagnostic test, replacement of any defective parts, a thorough cleaning and inspection process, and repackaging where applicable.
You ship products with all relevant accessories as would be expected for a new product, and the product is backed by the Amazon Renewed Guarantee

What can you sell?

To qualify as a seller of refurbished and pre-owned products, you need to adhere to our programme policies and product quality policies for these products and meet the performance bar set. Once you are approved for our programme, you will be able to sell high-quality products at great prices in the following categories:

How can you start selling?

Step 1

You need to first be a registered seller on Amazon to be able to sell refurbished and pre-owned products on Amazon Renewed.

If you are new to selling on Amazon, send us your details below and we will also help you set up your selling account.

Step 2

Qualify to sell on Amazon Renewed

To qualify to sell refurbished and pre-owned and open-box products on Amazon Renewed, we require details of your experience selling such like-new products.

You need to meet the following criteria to qualify as a seller on Amazon Renewed:

You are a high-volume seller of refurbished items. You can supply invoices showing a total value of €20,000 in qualifying purchases of refurbished items in the previous 90 days from the date of the application. For approval to list on the Apple brand in the smartphone category, you must supply invoices showing a total value of €1 million in Apple refurbished products.
Your products are refurbished to work and look like new by you or an external refurbisher. You are required to submit a minimum of 10 images of a sample unit for product and packaging review: 1) Box in which the product will ship, 2) Box in which the product is housed (inside the shipping box) — white or brown box, 3) Picture of product inside the box (with packaging), 4,5) Product pictures from the top and bottom, 6–9) Product picture from all four sides.
If you are an existing Seller on Amazon, or once you start selling on Amazon, you have an Order Defect Rate (ODR) of 0.8% or less trailing 90 days.
For specific brands, you may be required to submit additional documents related to your product inspection processes.

Step 3

Start selling and grow your business

Once your application is approved, you can start selling by listing your refurbished and pre-owned products or adding your offers to existing product listings.

When customers order, you can either fulfil them on your own or use Fulfilment by Amazon.
