Final tips for Prime Day

Start sending in inventory early

Ship the entire inventory by the deadline and increase revenue even further with pre-event campaigns. For best results, calculate expected demand and sales targets in advance.

Another tip: Do not worry about inventory limits — we take seasonal revenue highs, recent growth and product popularity into account when determining inventory limits.

If you sell electrical and electronic equipment on

Please note that you need to comply with EPR WEEE legislation in Germany (Extended Producer Responsibility — Waste Electrical And Electronic Equipment). From 5 June 2023 onwards, Amazon will be required to verify that you meet your EPR obligations and may deactivate some non-compliant listings. To avoid this having a negative impact on your sales, we recommend that you register as soon as possible if you haven't already, as the process can take up to eight weeks. To prove that you are compliant, you must register every brand and device type that you list on with Stiftung EAR and provide your registration number (WEEE reg. no.) on our compliance portal.
